I got a task this morning where I include an old Illustrator techniques existing since forever. It’s very fast, it’s very easy but nor Freehand neither Corel can do that so fast and easy. So here is the thing - if you have two points by diagonal and you need to draw a circle crossing both point, you can do this inside Illustrator with only one click and drag. All you need to know is a key involved in all this - the ctrl key. So as you got 2 point on your artboard, select ellipse tool ( L ), point the mouse over one of this two point then hold ctrl key then click and draw a circle ( or ellipse ) , go over the second point and release your mouse button. When you press ctrl while drawing you gonna notice the circle shifting exactly over the point where you begin drawing.
