As always there is a battle for market between the big players in the business and this is what push the technologies forward every single day. Its about Adobe and Microsoft this time. Since Adobe is a global leader in design market with its products obviously Microsoft got no intention to starring at how Adobe totally swallowed the design users on both PC and MacTel platform. Will Microsoft have the success in this battle?! My personal opinion is no and you gonna say ???why??? then I began this issue - here is the answer. Recently Microsoft announced a new product called Silverlight - a respond to Adobe Flash/Flex software. … so after nearly 2 months break Im back. Lots of things happened during this time and among all of them there is one big news for me - Adobe announced Creative Suite 3 release on 27 of march. So up to this point there is nothing on the market and I was sure its gonna be that way because its a huge transition inside of this releases of CS and huge amount of products coming up at once so there will be marketing tricks, price balancing and so on.

The first two release of the main packages will be 16 of april - CS3 Design Premium and CS3 Web Premium and as far as I can tell the release of CS3 Master Collection which collect all the Creative suite products will be available no earlier than 15 of july 2007.

So finally we got it! Adobe Photoshop CS3 beta is on our hard drives - I got itch on them since Ive download the beta. Ive tested out this new brilliant piece of software on PC with 1 GB of RAM and it working pretty well - I need to mention it load literally twice faster than CS2 (I got few more plug-ins on CS2 anyway) but I didn’t expect to be faster and by the way it’s pretty stable for first beta release. So I encourage you to download this new version and check it out for yourself how powerful it is.

I guess there will be some registration problems since it require a real Read the rest of this entry »
